About
I have been working in the entertainment and online services space for 20 years. I began my career as a system administrator, with a focus on LAMP and open source technologies. More recently, I've worked as an executive in online/social gaming, where I managed monetization and operations for a number of successful titles.
Currently I'm working on:
Consulting
Does your product need help with monetization, analytics, or business development? I would be happy to discuss how I can help. Please contact me at chris@scribe.net.
Teaching
My newest project is teaching kids to code using Python and the Raspberry Pi. I believe that a basic understanding of software engineering provides a set of fundamental skills that is vital, both to the child's future and the future of the global economy. It's not just about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), but also about liberal arts: being able to think critically about problems is the first step to finding solutions. An early introduction to computer science is an investment in the future.
My wife and I have started KidsCanCode - please check it out and contact us if you're interested in working with us!
